Bing Recipe Search

Part of Bing’s continuing mission to provide a better search and decide experience. This scenario centers around the task of finding recipes.

The experience starts with a rich instant answer at the top of the search results providing the user with contextual information beyond the usual “ten blue links”. From there the user can further explore the results on a domain specific task page that shows high level information such as prep time, calories and user ratings. The user can also narrow down the results via sorting and filtering controls. Finally, the user can drill down to a detail view of a specific recipe that diplays the full ingredients and nutritional information.
