Dogpile Search Redesign

Dogpile is a popular search engine that delivers the top results from the leading search engines combined. This redesign was the first step in bringing the site up to date both visually and functionally. Using a lighter color palette and less graphic elements helped to give the site both a perceived and real performance boost while giving the brand a fresh yet familiar look. With results pages being the meat of a search engine, the focus there was reducing clutter and improving legibility so the user can focus on the search results. Making changes in color, typography, layout aand spacing helped to establish a clear hierarchy of information and a consistent structure between different result verticals.
